Has anyone had any experience of/interest in Digital Mums or running social media campaigns?

We haven't used them, but think it's a fantastic idea. We have often thought that running social media campaigns for small businesses is a great idea for mums -- IMHO, you can do a lot of social media management at hours that suit you, and schedule things through a lot of the online tools. I think it's a great way to develop a digital marketing / social media career and skill set.

I'm looking for support for some social media support for an upcoming Kickstarter campaign and would be interested to hear from anyone who has been through their training (or equivalent)

OP, do you mind me asking what the training is? I can't find a website for "Digital Mums", should I be looking for something else??

Here is a link to the site: digitalmums.org/

As someone in the industry, it doesn't look up to date at all.

There are also some big disadvantages to scheduling, so make sure you consider those when you're doing your campaign. It undoubtedly makes life easier, but you can suffer for it.

Give me a shout if I can help any further.

Nikki here, co-founder of Digital Mums. We make sure our training is always up to date and that it reflects the latest trends in social media. I can send you a course guide if you'd like to get a clearer sense of what Digital Mums get trained to do. All the mums who have been through our training are now working and I'm confident our clients would be more than happy to provide us with a reference if you like one (or more). Cheers

Hi, I'm a Digital Mum! Just bagged my first job with a really exciting client. I get to apply my Digital Mum training and also my voluntary work as school PTA Treasurer so they found a great business for me. I found the training superb, and I loved the fact that you run a campaign straight away so really hands on not just learning the theory! I'd highly recommend. I feel I'm on a great journey now and glad took the opportunity.

Thanks, OTOH and Nikki, I'll take a look.
