Small business advisor queries

I work on a number of freelance contracts providing small business advice on the marketing/sales development advice.

I've been approached by a client to provide a more comprehensive service including the development of a full business plan and some fairly serious overhauls of business processes and change management.

I know the business and sector very well and am confident I can do it, but unsure what rates to charge.

Can anyone help me work out how best to price this and flag anything else else I should consider about my change in role?

Can you not just charge your normal rate? Or do you think it needs to be more (as a more involved project) or less as it is a longer contract?

Can you do it on a time and materials basis? Sounds like a wide scope...

Well done on securing the opportunity.

I could charge a normal rate, but I think I need to put together a package of services to meet te brief. I don't really want it slipping into my normal contract hours and activities and due to the sensitive nature of the work some of it will need to take place at my home office instead.

Thanks for your reply. It's all food for thought. I'm very chuffed to have been asked.
