How do I go about asking to reduce my hours at work, at the moment I work 32hrs a week but I'm hoping to reduce to 22.5. I work in retail and other staff members have reduced hours to go to university or for childcare reasons.
Do I need to write a letter or should i just have a chat with my manager?
