Where do I start finding the right wholesaler to supply my goods?

If I was to consider setting up my own business selling goods for example on an E-bay shop, where do I start finding someone to supply me the dtuff I will be selling? Any ideas anyone?

a trade show? delboys? it depends what the stuff is you want
