Had to go back full time, managed to get early finishes three times a week. I haven't any choice, most of my mum friends have negotiated part time and clearly think I'm a bit mad. Finding it hard, miss him more when I'm with him strangely.

Been invited away for a hen weekend in October which would mean two more nights without him. Could really do with the break but feel massively guilty.

I just want to know if anyone else is going through this how they're getting on.

Hi flinging - I've just started back full time, 5 days a week,8.30 (but in reality am in earlier) and leave at 5 to pick her up from nursery by 6. I miss her a lot but the day also goes pretty fast - I used to work a lot later and negotiated this early leave at 5 on basis I will work later at home if I need to. Just done first week back so not a wealth of experience but may be good to share!

Ps you need time for yourself too, I think the juggling is going to be the hardest - whatever we do we feel guilty Hmm

Hello, me too, just started back this week full time after a year. Having mixed emotions about it - emotions being the operative word! Feeling a bit discombobulated... After 13 months of 24 hour baby time it's a real shock to the system... Hoping it will get easier as we settle into a routine... I think organisation will be key...

Also missing my baby like crazy... Even when I'm with him it feels like time is too short!
