Child care vouchers do you still claim tax credits

So my employer can offer childcare vouchers does that mean when I use the tax credit calculator I now say I do pay child care or not?

You can't use both for the same amount of childcare eg childcare costs are £350 per week you claim £50 per week childcare vouchers and tell tax credits you childcare costs are £300 ( that's the maximum you can claim) you will then receive up to £220 a week in tax credits for childcare.
You then cannot claim the £80 difference in vouchers ou any amount above £300.
Basically childcare costs below £300 claim tax credits above £300 claim first £300 from tax credits rest in vouchers.
Also remember any amount of childcare vouchers you receive do not count as income for tax credits purposes so if you get working tax credit this will increase.
