DH has just been put on consultation. Unless a buyer is found his section of the company will be closing. They are at the stage of nominating a rep then the 30 day period will start.

We are within the first year of childcare vouchers. His redundancy will be based on his salary after the deduction of vouchers and not his notional salary which is the amount before. He has tried to cancel the vouchers and been told he can't do so within the initial 12 month period. He has been sent the details which state yiu can give 1 months notice within the initial period providing you can satisfy your company that you have had a lifestyle change. On that basis I think it's clear they can cancel it but don't know where we stand legally. The redundancy is statutory so won't be huge and toys is going to cost us about 1/6 of it.

Does anyone have any information?

Tia

I agree you can cancel with lifestyle change. Why don't you just say your parents have offered to mind the kids now so you don't need nursery anymore? I was told I could cancel if I no longer needed nursery at any time
