Hello,

Can anyone tell me who the best temp agencies are to register with?
I've a pt job in a local supermarket, but yearning to get back in an office...
I've googled but they all seem to want summer free students :/

Try office angels :-)

I've been with a few in my time, Manpower, Huntress and Office Angels and have good experiences with all of them. The good thing about the big ones like Office Angles is that they often do have plenty of work. I've finished one job, had another lined up for a weeks time but still had calls in the morning asking me if I'm able to do a days emergency cover on a reception that day.

If you work hard and have a good attitude then you'll get a good reputation and the agency will trust you One thing that irritates employers is temps that are Know It All's, and have poor time keeping. However dull the task is, head down, smile, and work.

I got my first graduate job as my agency kept sending me back to the same company each Easter and summer. I went back again once I'd graduated for a month and was offered a permanent role.

Call a big company you want to work for, and ask them who they hire from.
