Ok mumsnetters I could really do with your knowledge/experience on this one. I work in a skilled job in the NHS, I am currently on maternity leave and not due to return until March 2015. The team I work in have just been told they will have to re interview for their posts. Those who are unsuccessful will be down graded.
I want to know where I stand, can my employer force me to attend for interview whilst I am on maternity leave? Has anyone been through this themselves? Or does anyone have any professional knowledge of this kind of situation?
