Additional part time income: suggestions?

Currently on a very modest salary and not able to make ends meet.
I need additional income, at least for a while. I have a couple of very part time jobs that don't impinge on the full-time one. However, we desperately need more income coming in. I'm of course looking at my full time job options but currently in very much of a dead end.

Any thoughts about jobs, over and done with perhaps in a day or two (such as being a film extra or working at a temporary exhibition/show)? Of course annual leave is for r and r (and, of course, being with the family) but really I need to generate more income over the next few months to get our heads above water.

Any thoughts? I'd be grateful for ideas and if anyone has been a film/TV extra, any suggestions on that front? (Perhaps it's utterly exhausting and wouldn't therefore be a particularly good idea but I don't know ... I have (long ago) stage experience.)

Many thanks.

Being an extra isn't ideal if you have children as the hours are looong and unsociable. Also the work is sporadic at best.

Have you thought of taking in ironing?
