We have two part time agency nurse in our team at present (community mental health) and I recently found up that they get equivalent to a higher band 8 for a band 6 work role.
Tbh I am seriously considering looking into this myself, for a variety of reasons ( not all financial).
Would be really interested to hear of any nurse who work pretty much exclusively for agencies, how do you find the pay, terms and conditions and can you be reasonably sure of getting enough work.
