Does anyone have any experience of this? Zero hours?

Yes but I taught mainly 16 to 18 year olds and it was in addition to their vocational qualification.
Different if you're teaching adults though. No behaviour issues for a start.

Which area are you specialising in?

Thank you so much for replying - specialising in literacy and would be working with adults in the workplace.

I have taught skills for life along with maths in alternative provision, I loved it the course can be written to make it really interesting and most of the learners really used to look forward to those lessons

Wonderful, thank you so much.
