What do you think of this idea?...

I'm thinking of starting my own business - soft play hire. Taking the play centre to the child. So for instance, weddings, children's parties etc.

Would anyone be prepared to pay for a service like that?

We hire soft play for parties all the time. You just need to find out what the competition is like in your area.

I can't find any :)

I think that's a cool idea especially when there's no competitor in the area. But be ready for competition when you get started as it is more likely that others will pick up the idea and put up the same business. Thing is you'd be the first and it'S good as you'll have the opportunity to set the norm.

Quite high upfront expenses
Do you have somewhere to store it during the week?
Work will be only at weekends
Will you sort the party venue or the parents?
Lots of weddings wouldn't have space for this
What about insurance?
What about transport?

Ok, those are the negatives. There are a few of these in my area so I guess they make some money somehow!
