I have found out that my company has not previously allowed employees to accrue and take bank holidays off as additonal time off when they return from maternity leave. Our contract is X days annual leave plus bank holidays so we should have been entitled to it.
They have now reliased that they should have been doing this and people will now get this going forward.
How do people who have missed out on this in the past (twice in my case!) stand in terms in asking for this respectively?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
