For the last few months I've been trying to find a jobs to fit in with school hours. I'm quite highly qualified, used to work in finance before ds. However having been out of the office for about 10 years it's very hard to get back - even in an admin role. Plus finding suitable hours is so difficult - seem to be 300-400 people going for each job.
So i've applied for a cleaning job - any tips, advice, anyone done this before - all gratefully received. Thanks :)

Yes, but on a self-employed basis. I charged £10 an hour. Liked it, too.

Most of the work was for people we knew(I worked alongside a friend).

If I were you, I think I'd advertise myself, rather than work for an agency.

I was also a self employed cleaner, i advertised online and once i got my first job the lady i cleaned for kept recommending me to her family and friends. It was great, i charged £9 per hour, easy money.
