annualised hours

Does anybody know how to work out annualised hours? My question is based on a 21hr per week position, if I wanted to work term time only, how many hours a week would I have to work? I'm hugely confused and don't know where to begin trying to calculate it!

I'm not sure if this is right but I would have thought if you want to earn the same as you would for working 21hours per week then the calculation would be:

21*52/39 = 28 hours per week in term time only.

Or if you want to work 21 hours per week in term time then your average hours per week would be:

21*39/52 = 15.75 hours per week.

Thanks, I think 28hrs a week sounds about right.
