Hi I'm thinking of starting my own interior design business. There are a lot of people doing this and some companies ( eg Laura Ashley) charge a fee but you get it back of products you buy.
I think you may struggle to get work, especially at first if you don't have a portfolio of work to show

Hmm Hoppinggreen and frogmore having a row Hmm and a rather strange row at that. Leap into a pond and cool off chaps.

Assuming there is nothing socky or puppety about you OP a lot depends on your location, experience and the competition. Is your spelling of 'color' a clue?

Just seen the other replies - there does seem to be some froggy conflict here Fideliney :)!!!!!
Not trying to be defeatist but I know so many people do have just decided that because they love interior design they can do it for a living, it's just not that simple. Even qualified and experienced designers can struggle to find work.
I don't just blindly encourage - it's just not Britsh!!!

Not a fan of dream-based business plans myself Wink

Interior Design is a very competitive industry, with high expectations from the customers, and you might find it difficult to get customers or get supplier accounts without some credibility or qualifications.
