Has anyone paid their NMC fees 'late' (but before their registration renewal date)?

My NMC fees were due on the 16th. But my registration renews at the end of may (31st).

Before I ring them and ask, has anyone else paid them late, but before the end of the month.

I have no money until payday (28th) due to a personal disaster wiping out my small amount of saving reserves.

I am sure they won't give me an honest answer on the phone. So has anyone else done it? And has it been okay?

Sorted. I've spoken to them. It fine as long as there are 2 working days before its due. Phew.
