Any freelance lawyers out there?

Just wondering what the going rate is for freelance lawyers who work for themselves, not for an agency such as Lawyers On Demand etc. In London.

Anybody? I am thinking of going down this route but no idea of going rate for a mid level commercial contracts advisor (6-8 yrs PQE)

I think there has been one or two threads about this, you might find them if you search. From memory a lot of people were put off by the erm professional insurance fees or something? but there were a couple doing it.

Believe one very well known mumsnetter is a freelance lawyer.
