Ukip say mums should not expect maternity leave!

Hi there, as the elections are in a few weeks i have been doing some research and ive seen that if ukip get in they want to stop maternity leave! Does anyone else know anything about this? Www.shouldivoteukip.co.uk .....no!

I'm more in fav our of parental leave, a year (at least) to be divided between the parents. Got to also help the prospects of women in the workplace aswell if employers think the male parent may be off as much if not possibly more.

They won't get anywhere near power so they can say what they want, it won't change anything.

Take no notice of what UKIP "want". They won't get it. They also want to force abortions on women carrying disabled babies. Can't see them getting many votes to be honest x

The "policy" on no maternity leave has been shown to be a (malicious?) hoax by an opponent.

Damn UKIP for what they are, not lies about them.

It's not a hoax but individual party members, councillors and candidates have said it. Whether or not you think that will translate into actual policy is up to you.
