Hi everyone, im new to this, 1st post so heregoes. Im off with stress/depression not work related but work in a stressful job. I have booked a conference relating to my franchise way before i was sick, my employer said i could face disciplinary if i attend. I wouldnt be making money while there, it is a conference with motivational speakers and my doctor thinks the weekend away will do me the world of good. My manager mention her manager and hr would have to discuss further and they could withold my pay for them days (2) which i wouldnt mind. What i am concerned about is losing my job. Do i go and keep it quiet?
