Hi there! So in this terrible economical climate it's been harder and harder to find a full time job... So I started doing 4 part time jobs which equalled to just over 40 hours a week paying 20% tax on those jobs as it's more then one. Then we got the lil surprise that we were going to become parents. I'm now 22 weeks and looking at my maternity pay. I'm absolutely annoyed to find out that the one job I work for have classified me as a 'casual' worker even though I have very set hours every week so they refuse to even look at maternity pay or keeping my job for me. I also found out that because, individually, on the other 3 jobs I don't earn enough on their own a week I'm not entitled to my full maternity pay!! But collectively I earn a decent salary with all the hard work I've put in. How is this fair?!! Sorry for the long rant but I was wondering if anyone else had to deal with this? You feel like what's the point in even working this hard?
