We are a very busy household as are most,I have applied to go to college 3 days and will work the other 2 in September we have 4 dc's and when I go back to study I really am worrying about keeping up with the simple every day stuff ironing food shopping etc,I really don't want to waste my whole weekend catching up,I do that already and So do miss quality time with the children.I am toying with the idea of getting either a cleaner for a few hours a week to free me up to do more 'productive bits' as for me ANY spare time is or can be money,my DH has his own business and again it is a struggle to do his extra bits like paperwork etc as we a&e always catching up with the home .......is a cleaner lazy,I kind if don't like the idea of not being able to do these simple things but they really do take up so much time and it is so difficult to clean or do anything like that whilst the children are home,a cleaner a few hours a week would free me up no end,I could do DH paperwork, work towards my studying and hopefully be able to give my free time at the weekend.
I am teaching my family to help around the house and DH will have to step up a bit more on I am studying ( which I am kind of looking forward to) but the dc's are still quite young so I do have to do most things for safety reasons mostly.
Does anyone have experience of doing this to help,O really do feel that even thought there will be an initial outlay financially it will undoubtedly save us money in the long run as I will be working toward a better career and will be able to give the dc's time with school work and DH with paperwork......thoughts/ ideas please !!
