Fixed Contract Possible Issue

Hi,

I have name changed in case I am identifiable but I hope noone minds and someone can help me out.

I have just accepted a 3 month fixed term contract job and start after Easter I am moving back into work after being a SAHM.

Anyway I was looking for a job for after this contract ends and saw an advert for the same position I have accepted at the same employer But for the three months following my contract.

I am not sure if this is my job or a second position but if it is mine do they have to offer it to me first or would I have to apply again?

No they don't have to offer it to you. However if it is the same role, assuming you perform well, you are obviously well-placed to apply!

Ok Thanks, I shall check with them then apply then, I didn't want to and then find out I shouldn't have done.
