Maternity leave ....

I'm due to start my maternity leave soon- but all honesty I'm not happy in the job! I work within the nhs.

My question is: if I found another job within the nhs (when I'm due to return from mat leave) would I be able liable to pay back the maternity leave?

Hiya, I think it depends on the employer. I would check your maternity pay policy or if you are a member of the union check it out with them. I would have thought if it was all within Nhs though that it would be ok . X

Certainly not the SMP part but would depend on your contract if any enhanced mat. pay needed to be repaid.
