Applying for TA jobs - how to make myself more 'attractive'?

I'm considering applying for TA work. I'm a regular helper in 2 primary schools.

What else can I do to improve my chances? Are there courses that are worth doing?

To be honest I don't think it's worth your while doing a course. Just lots of experience in schools, preferably with lots of kids with different needs e.g. processing problems and dyslexia etc...

Most of the time they have me doing 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 with children who are struggling. Some general classroom stuff as well.
