Network Marketing - thoughts?

Hi, I was wondering if there are any experienced network marketers here? I have started working with a company new to the UK, called Vemma, who offer a range of premium nutritional products, and am looking to build my team. Where have you found is best to advertise on the internet?

I have been with my chosen company, Wikaniko for 5 years. my best results have been by engaging with people via social media, eg Twitter, Facebook. I am also quite active on various forums.
I have advertised on FridayAd and Gumtree in the past with no real success.
I find face to face networking a great way to let people know about yourself and our business
