Looking for a bit of a change of career as I am sick of my current job. I am thinking about becoming a Retirement Housing Scheme Manager. I've seen a job based at a leasehold development.
Has anybody on here done this? Just wondering what it would be like really. I have very good admin and customer service skills and I also have a lot of empathy/interest in older people. The job comes with a flat and I guess my major concern is whether it would be a bit of a goldfish bowl and, in my mid-forties, am I too young to do this sort of job? I'm married with no children and really looking for a job that gives me some semblance of work/life balance, security, satisfaction, etc.
