Pay/Hours in school question

Looking at a job which says hours are 0.5 of 37 hour week - what does this mean? There is info on pay scale which I understand but not the 0.5 thing. Anyone shed any light? Thanks

It just means that you'll do a 18.5 hour week and your gross salary will be 50% of the FT salary. It wouldn't necessarily all be inside school hours and you would have to work school hols.
