We're thinking about buying a home/garden office/studio but there are so many companies out there supplying them. Can anyone recommend a good company and what are the sort of things we should be thinking about? Thanks.

We used green retreats, got a 3 x 4m room built in our courtyard which houses a spare office, the vinyl record collection with turntable, a spare double bed/sofa and gets used every day. Blooming marvellous it is.

Ours cost £10k and they put it up in one and a half days.

We are now looking though at a geodesic domed shed for a community garden, this is coming out at £11.5k for 7m by 4.8m. We are using geodomes.com for this. He came out to see us last week and is doing the final cost as we speak. The geodome has a roof that can be planted up, is made of rubber with a 30 year lifespan and we can't wait for it to be fitted!
