Please help me find a career!

Hello all,

I really need some help trying to find a career to go into. I would like to work with children or adults with learning difficulties but not necessarily in a school environment. I will be graduating this year with a degree in education and despite wanting to become a teacher beforehand, I no longer do. Which has made me really stuck an in need of something to focus on. I'd like to start thinking now just in case I need to start applying soon. I have loads of experience in childcare but very minimal with disabilities.

I know it shouldn't all be about the money, but I would also like to be in a fairly good wage. I am not talking huge amounts of money, but quite high and possibly somewhere that I can work my way up.

Thanks all

Social work?
Children's charity?

I considered social work but I am honestly fed up with education now and just want to get stuck into the real working world.

Children's charity sounds really interesting, but do you have any idea where I could search for these sorts of jobs?

Your uni careers office will be able to help you. Use them now while you're still allowed.

What about speech and language therapy? You'd need to do a masters but I think it's funded.
