I have applied for the most perfect job in the world. I have never ever ever seen such a perfect job that would suit me down to the ground. It seems it would be perrrrfect in every single way possible. I want it soooo much. I emailed my cv off to the employer yesterday on his request. Lovely man emailed me back today saying he has had lots of applications (do I stand a chance at this point?) but he is considering my application and will get back in touch over the next few weeks. Fabulous!

The employer told me in the email that it often gets very boring so I have emailed him back thanking him for his email and explaining I have had positions similar and manage myself appropriately, so I can avoid getting bored and I said that I enjoy my own company (this job would be me as the only employee)...not a childcare job. And then he has just emailed me back again saying 'Thanks myname, will contact you later. Kind regards'

Does that mean anything? Have I blew it? Oh noooooo! This job would mean the world to me.
I want this job soooo much, hence the rambling
Please just pray for me and do all means possible to help me get this job! Please!!!!!!!

That all sounds good imo, good luck

Pierre · 28/07/2006 09:17

Wishing you luck. Are there other jobs you could apply for to stop you thinking and thinking about this one and waiting for the reply.....?

NannyStar · 28/07/2006 10:09

Thanks Carmenere and Pierre! No there aren't any other jobs Pierre at the moment. Does the fact that he emailed me and said "thanks nannystar, will contact you later, Kind regards" mean he will contact me today?

I will be praying for you NannyStar. I'm off on holiday today but I hope I'll read something positive when I get back.
God Bless

SSSandy · 28/07/2006 10:25

Don't think he'll be getting back to you today TBH. If he has had so many applications, it will take him some time to work through them all.

Why do you think this job is so perfect for you?

NannyStar · 28/07/2006 11:27

Thanks very much moreteaanyone!

Have a fabby holiday!!!!

Hello SSSandy, this has been the job I have been after since leaving school but there are very few of this type actually available. It would be like a dream come true to get this job and although I love being a nanny, in this job I would get to work with all ages of society.
