Has anyone tried online tutoring?

Hello,
I'm a qualified French/Italian TESOL and SEN teacher and cannot get work so I'm looking into online tutoring possibilities. Anyone doing this or tried it before? If so tips on how to get started appreciated.
Thanks

I offer online tutoring in addition to more traditional face-to-face tuition. On the whole, it works very well. I use a combination of Skype, an online interactive whiteboard and screen sharing.

If you are looking for clients from abroad, you might want to start off by registering with an agency who will be able to find clients for you until you have built up your own base.

Thanks M what subjects do you tutor? Are there any agencies you'd suggest? I have skype do i need to buy an interactive whiteboard as well? I imagine it will take some time to build up clients.

I tutor sciences and maths and also now have someone else working for me with a different (science) degree, which means between us we can offer a broader spectrum of subjects.

I'll pm you about agencies and other info if that is ok?

I'd appreciate that thanks
