In July 2012, after 16 years with same company, I was made redundant due to a complete office restructure. Huge shock but the £8500 redundancy pay helped and lasted the 5 months until I got another job. I love the new job (office admin but in a very different industry) but now, just over a year later, they are in financial difficulties and I am facing redundancy once more. Is it correct that if you've been employed for less than 2 years, there is no statutory redundancy pay?
