Based on that info, it calculates for you when you should tell your employer you are pregnant, which day you can start your leave, when your additional maternity leave can begin etc, also how much money you will get for your 6 weeks on 90% salary. If you go to tiger.gov.uk, then click Maternity Leave (Under heading Work & Family), the select Personal Guidance on Maternity Rights. It gives you a year's calendar worth of dates that relate to your pregnancy and parenting. Hope it helps you.
