OK i posted last night on another bit about i had chance for a p/t job but worked out we would loose more than i would be earning, well i done 2 more different online calculators and its not as bad as the first 1 made out obviously i know its only an estimate but i do really want a job...

So my next door neighbour who works there arranged for me to see the manager this morning and just got back, she said i can do 12 hours a week with chance of over time and more permanent hours in the future but cant start properly until Feb time as doing a refurb extending the dining area in the pub, but she wants me to go in next week with my details etc and then organise for me to do a bit of training..

EEEK im so excited and lucky its only because i know the lady next door whos worked there years, anyone else she said would give a proper interview and want references etc but she said shes taking next doors word but will want another workl reference for her records from an employer.... MAy have a problem there as things ended badly with my last previous employer 5 years ago not really anything bad but she got all funny with me having to have time off with son and when i was ill, so i ended up rsigning to which she wasnt happy said after all they had done for me etc i had been there 4 years and i agree they had done alot for me but i had also done alot for them things that wernt in my job description, but they accused me of using them to be able to get maternity pay off them and all sorts so anyway i get blanked when she sees me out and about all very ott but i cant ask for a reference
. I had a little cleaning job i guess i could put down but i wanted them to know about my food handling and serving experience. I have done the odd shift in in OHs aunties sandwich shop but it was only an handful of times when needed but again its different to working in an in house place. Hopefully i can work round it. I have all my certificates for nvq peparing and serving food, and have other 1s so they know i have a hospitality background.

Im really excited, OH seems ok with it im not sure how he'll cope with the kids on a night on his own we usually share responsibilities and then i will wash up and clean kitchen etc im guessing the home routine will go to pot but its only going to be a 4 hour shift at a time 3 days a week its not going to be too bad i dont think :) Hes saying he dont want me walking home on my own aswell at night hich i know he has a point but its a 5 min walk in a pretty residential area i think it will be ok
