Hello! I work 40hours a week with 6hours commuting a week.
I'm struggling. I have a 5yo and 3yo. I pay in excess of £1000 a month childcare costs and don't see them much during the week.
I've had enough of the top city career and I'm utterly bored in IT. Its very very boring. I'd like to explore other areas like interior or kitchen renovation, I loved project managing my house renovation. But I'm not an architect.
Anyone successfully made the change from full time to doing something completely different and making a living out of it? I'd ideally have to clear £1000a month comfortably to make it viable to move out of where I am. I don't have much confidence to do it.
