Lot of work for very little in return.
You have to buy the books from them.
Basically as long as you earn the min (think its around £80 now) you earn £1 for every £4 of good you sell.

You have to deliver the books to people, and hope they don't just them in the bin.
Wait for the stuff to come. Sort it and deliver and get cash. This can be a pita. Pay their share and keep the little bit you have left, remember to take out money for the books.

The books are around £3 for 5. You also have an initial start up cost. You also will at some point have to purchase samples because people will want to smell things, see colours etc.

I used to sell it a few years back. Wasn't really worth it. Really don't think it is worth it now, as you can buy online and no longer need the rep. Plus you get discounts and stuff whereas from reps you don't.

You will have to register as self employed with the tax people as well.

Unless you become an area representative then you should look at it as more of a hobby - my mum does it for the exercise but I got bored very quickly
