Just got my first rejection :(

And am feeling vey sorry for myself If I cant even get a job as a data processor what chance have I got with all the other ones I've applied for and STILL have had no response from. AM gutted. And now extremely worried. If I don't have a job by September I can't pay for dd's nursery, and then the whole thing will be buggered up Feel really rubbish this morning.

Just keep going. I've been looking for jobs for nearly a year now and have just been offered a one day a week admin job out of my efforts. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I can definitely understand how you feel.

Oh littlelamb sorry to hear that you didn't get the job that you went for. Just think thought that there are soooo many people that go for any one job but only one person can actually get the job. It is no reflection on you. Just keep at it you will get one.

definetly keep at it chuck it will happen soon. Going through the same at the mo went for 3 jobs last week did the interviews and never got them but we just got to keep at it & whats ment to be will be.

I'm in the same boat, I really don't understand where I am going wrong. I have always got the jobs I have gone for and now jobs that I should be able to get blindfolded are rejecting me. I really am at a loss.

Keep trying and fingers crossed we will all get their sooner rather than later.

Thank you all Didn't eat chocolate but decided to stop moping so took dd out for ice cream. Also went to Next sale and got some smart clothes to wear when I DO have a job. It is just a bit demoralising I guess, but I have applied for lots of other jobs so fingers crossed. Have thought long and hard about why they rejected my on the basis of my cv though. The letter said they had lots of applicants. But, it was quite a sh*t job really, so I can't spend too much time worrying.
