NHS job application help

Hi all,

I'm new to the site but I always find the answer to everything on here!

I have applied for an apprenticeship in Clinical Support Work at a Leeds hospital. I have been checking the NHS jobs site all day every day since applying and I also emailed the recruitment team to ask if they had any volunteering opportunities I could do that may support my application.

The post online closed yesterday, and I was wondering if anyone working within the NHS knew how long it takes to short lost applicants for an interview.

If anyone has any advice at all I'd appreciate it.

Thank you!

I don't remember exactly as it was a while ago.

But, it was around 3-4 weeks after the job closed that I got contacted (via text message)

No set answer. Depends on loads of things. I'm a manager in the NHS. Depends on the vacancy priority and how much time I have.

In my experience it takes ages! I applied for a role as a coder in August (closing date was early September) and in mid October I got an invitation to interview and had completely forgotten applying for it.
