If you were going to resign today

and you had to give 1 week's notice, and you get paid on the 24th...would you? Would there be any risk to not getting your salary paid? Or would you wait until you get paid and then resign?

sorry a bit late to reply but unless you work for a dodgy company then you should get paid! only problem may be getting overpaid depending on when they run their payroll. so be prepared to pay anything back if you do. did you resign?

My company would pay me. The fact that you're asking the question makes me think that you don't trust yours?

They have to pay you for what you have worked end of story. Unless some dodgy small company doing their own books you will be paid.

No didn't resign, have decided to first thing in the new year. Just don't trust them not to stiff me. Thanks for replies.
