I'd like advice on behalf of a friend please - they were made redundant 2 years ago, and signed on for 6 months (the total duration they were able to), and then started up their own business as a freelance consultant.
The business brought in money occasionally, but the last time they had a contract was in April 2013. Are they able to sign on again?
