I have a study element that is like an add-on to my job, I qualify for it through doing my job but it is not funded nor organised through work but through another organisation. It is not in my contract with work either. If I were to go on maternity leave, would I be barred from continuing the study under maternity leave rules or something?

Is there anyone from the organisation who organises it who can advise?

I'm sure there is but I don't want to ask! I am not pregnant. If I become so I will ask then, just pondering the implications of a pregnancy at this point...

I've done some of my CIPS in selfstudy paid for by my employer whilst on maternity leave, and it wasn't a problem, however I didn't attend any courses, just did it all at home and then went to sit the exam.

Both times the exam fees had already been paid by the time I went on mat leave.
