paypal PayPal business account without business bank account?

Hi

Me and a friend are setting up a business selling some tailored clothing (she's a tailor, I know how to do the online stuff ). I don't want a business bank account just yet til in know if it will work, is it possible to have a PayPal business account without a business bank account? I was thinking I could then transfer monies more easily between us to our personal bank accounts, in the first instance at least

Thats exactly what i have a business paypal account and a normal bank account. Works fine, had this for two years

As long as your not banking alot of cheques in the bank, then you can keep your current account.

Its when cheques are being processed through your bank very regularly that makes the bank say you need a business one.

Also if you need a card machine, Santander do a card machine with a current account .

thank you. thats really helpful. there wont be cheques as far as i can see, i guess if it goes that way then i guess we'll need to start thinking about a bank account.

yes i have a paypal business account and a normal bank account too, works fine, especially if paypal offer you their mastercard, which means you can just use your paypal account as your business account.
