Career change advice - what else could I do?

I'm a modern languages graduate and have a postgraduate in Law, and approx 15 years of mid level business experience. I have a well paid job but I'm not happy and haven't been for a while - I need a change before it is too late.

The only thing is - I can't decide what I want to do instead. My passion is international travel (which was one reason I studied Languages) and some of my earlier jobs were international related but that fell by the wayside over 10 years ago. One option might be to do what I do now but in an international environment but is there something else I could do that I'm not thinking of?

What is your job at the moment, ranoutofnames? Many companies trade internationally, and languages are always useful in that context. What languages do you speak & to what level? Is it using your languages that interests you, or travelling abroad?

My languages are on the rusty side now but it would be nice to have the opportunity to use them occasionally. The prospect of international travel appeals more tbh. I suppose the easy thing would be to stay in my current profession (procurement) but move into an international environment but I'm up for a more radical change I think.

You sound as if you're ready for a big change.

Sometimes it helps to look at where you are now and to analyse your feelings about it. In what way do you feel dissatisfied in your current role?
