How do I nudge after two interviews and then... nothing?

I have had what I thought were two positive interviews for a management role at a large company. The second was in mid-November and at the end, I was told all about the next stage of interview. That was over a fortnight ago and I have heard nothing since then.

They said the MD was going away but once back, the third interview stage would be to meet the panel again with the MD. I did a bit of Twitter searching research and found out the MD returned last week.

I took their discussion of the next stage of interview to mean that I was in the running since they seemed impressed by my portfolio and were very friendly, but since then have heard absolutely nothing. I don’t know whether to chase them and politely ask about when I will hear either way? I feel as though I’m a little bit treading water waiting to hear.

Is it best just to put it out of my mind, or shall I send a non-pushy email saying I’m still keen?

Thank you ever so much JustSpeakSense - trying to write something non-naggy sounding is hard!

Fingers crossed...

Crossing fingers for you :-)

I would send a very friendly email too. I'd expect it makes you look keen and not afraid to ask questions, rather than naggy!

Good luck.

I agree with LastOneDancing your will come across as proactive, not naggy :-)
