Just had my third interview in 3 weeks

I didn't get the first two and don't think I'm going you get this one.
It was a short closing date and only a week from short listing to interview which always leads me to suspect they've already got a candidate lined up.

They'll call after 5pm, I'm going to be so disappointed, I really wanted this one and am desperate to get away from where I am now.

Oh sorry blanche. Think you could be right about an internal candidate.

I know how demoralising this can be. I had 6 final round interviews (all rejections!) before I got my current job. I know it must sound like a platitude to you right now, but if you are getting interviews you WILL get a job sooner or later - hopefully somewhere that is a good fit for you.

I really empathise.

the rejections are shit enough and the expense adds injury to insult-days off for assessment centres which are craply designed and don't measure the competencies required to do the job.

stupid short turn around times for application, shortlisting, interview.
I did two and the time intervals were so short they gave fartleks a run for their money. A little post-interview private investigation work soon revealed they had less qualified internals lined up.

But yes CystalSkulls words are hopeful and I hang onto them-really is a case I want to work somewhere where the fit is good however demoralising the process is to get there.
