Hi i live with my dh but we currently claim esa due to my dh having back problems. I have been looking for work for months and have finally been offered a full time job. I understand the esa claim will stop as i have a job, my main question is as we have 2 dd's Does anyone know roughly what working tax we will be entitled too? My mum is looking after my kids so childcare is not an issue.i have been on the entitled to website and it tells me we are entitled to no working tax. I cant wait to start work i just have a lot of organising to do now. Feeling rather proud of myself for getting the jobGrin
Will miss my dd's as my youngest is only 1 but its all for them in the end. Has anyone come off benefits to start a full time job? Any advice? I will be on £7.31 an hour if thats any help

You will be eligible for both child tax credits and working tax credits - do you know how many hours a week you'll be working? If you're renting there's a good chance you will also get some housing benefit.

There must be something you have put into the entitled to calculator incorrectly as you are definitely eligible!
