Payslips during maternity leave

Does anyone have any idea if payslips are generated during maternity leave? I wasn't entitled to SMP this pregnancy and instead claimed maternity allowance through the job centre.

I have elected to not return to work after taking 12 months but understand that I have still been employed during my maternity leave and wish to have proof of that if possible. I am TTC at the moment and am able to use my maternity hours to claim maternity allowance if I fall pregnant this year but I will need proof of this.

My payslips are generated online but currently i cant access the area to see if they stopped last October.

Thanks xx

If your former employer is paying you, you will get payslips for every pay period.
If the DSS is paying you, you will get a single payslip when they stop paying you
Your bank records are king

Unfortunately noone is paying me!

Because I had only started the job and then found out I was pregnant I wasn't entitled to SMP, so I was paid nothing at all whilst on marernity leave from my employer.

However my understanding is during the last 12 months I have been classed as employed and I would have accrued holiday pay etc. I am TTC at the moment and if I did fall pregnant my maternity leave employment would count as hours worked, but I would have to prove that. I just wonder how without payslips?

yes they are - you are getting MA - which is taxable income
there are no hours worked on MA
you need to speak to your employer and midwife / health visitor to confirm your exact dates / rates

Your contract of employment is proof of your hours worked. When you leave you will receive a p45 showing the date you left, and therefore the date you stop being employed. You should have received a letter from the dwp with the amount of ma you will receive and the dates it will be paid from/to, this is your proof of income.

Right, that helps.

Sorry when I say noone is paying me know, I mean my mat allowance stopped in June. But yep, I did receive it, although I don't know if I held on to the letter you talk about pinksheep.
