I won't go into details to the situation... except my husband abused my children and myself and had to flee from him and he locked us out of the marital home out of anger. I wasn't allowed on his bank account and living off of funds from my mother and friends who can help. Social services obviously got involved but decided to pass my case over to the local support team. Any stories or advice on if they are good and what they can do for someone like myself? Also waiting on benefits right now and have been told they cannot pay for rent till one of my benefits come back. They were all under my husband s name at the time... help?
